Introductory Workshops
Introductory Workshops
Introductory workshops raise baseline literacy of inclusion and equity to equip participants with a foundation that can be built upon throughout the learning. In these interactive sessions, participants engage with new concepts and approaches to begin thinking about how to embed equity and inclusion into their lives and working environments.
Following the conceptual exploration, the workshops include an applicative element to allow participants to more practically apply their new language and understanding to their working realities. It is important to keep in mind that introductory workshops are precisely that – introductory – and they will not likely be sufficient for transformative change on their own.

Inclusion 101 (2 hours)
This workshop brings together a dynamic exploration of privilege, what it means, and how it manifests, to better understand and visibilise its consequences. Participants are guided through the ways that privilege often leads to siloed thinking about inequity to highlight the dangers of this approach. Following this introduction, participants are presented with a different lens to engage with inequities and the ways they interconnect and overlap to create compounded and unique experiences. This crucial framework equips participants with 2-3 specific micro-actions they can use and engage in immediately following the workshop to challenge inequity and work toward inclusion.
Inclusion Deep Dive (4 hours)
Through experiential and discursive learning, this deep dive allows participants to explore lived realities that are impacted and shaped by privilege and the deep normalization of inequity. This exploration allows participants to understand the ways that inequity and exclusion manifest on a deeper and more nuanced level with a focus on building the capacity for visualizing these issues and challenging their root causes.
This workshop critically examines how the organizational culture can interact with people’s identities, powers, and privileges to manifest inequitable lived workplace experiences. Reckoning with fragility, utilizing intersectionality, and embedding equity are investigated as foundational actions that participants can engage with to develop inclusive thinking and create deep and sustainable cultural change.
Bitesize Learning Series
This learning journey of up to 6 2-hour workshops focuses on developing the practical skills to embed equity and inclusion into the organizational structure and culture through bite-sized, bespoke workshops. This learning journey provides organizations with limited capacities for our longer programs to thematically engage with equity and inclusion through a learning series that is developed and designed for their unique needs and focus areas.
Whether this journey begins with a facilitator-led live workshop or follows on from our robust e-learning is up to you. The beauty of this learning series lies in its flexibility, customisability, and thematic continuity.
e-Learning + Solidarity Bundle
Our interactive, globally-focused, experiential e-Learning revolutionizes self-guided equity and inclusion training powerfully and cost-effectively. This accessible c.two-hour, self-paced experience equips learners with strong foundational knowledge which acts as a powerful springboard for further training that can focus heavily on practical application and nuance tailored to your workplace context.
We recommend this experience be followed by a 2hr workshop on solidarity and calling-in courageous conversations. This workshop builds on the e-Learning to develop capacities with an action-focused approach to stand in solidarity with people facing systemic inequities and to build an organisational culture of accountability.
The efficacy of this bundle lies in cost-effectively establishing a shared organisational understanding of inequity, its origin, and how it is maintained through a self-guided, interactive, and accessible e-Learning platform; followed by an actions-based workshop that encourages and equips participants to develop their tools for accountability and courageous conversations when we inevitably mess up, so that we can build an inclusive culture for all!
